Hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day.
I really enjoyed last nights dinner and the company. Bryan brought flowers for Pamela and me and Lloyd helped to do the dishes after dinner and even loaded up the dishwasher correctly! The food was great and Bryan did an excellent job with the steaks in my opinion. We used the decanter that Pamela gave me for my birthday last year for the wine which made it very festive.
I had never done a Valentines 'dinner party' but I think that it may be the way to go. Certainly I enjoyed that more than many of the overpriced Valentines dinners I have had out. I realize that Lloyd and Pamela may have rather been with their sweeties, but I enjoyed having them and thought it convenient that they were both sans sweetie and could join me last night.
The training at the museum was nice yesterday as well. Everyone brought some tasty Valentines treats and the program was very funny. I learned about slug 'love darts' and even have a glow-in-the-dark slug as a souvenir of the event.
My boss and co-workers now always say 'cheers' and it sounds so pleasant. So...
Cheers!

Happy Valentines Day All!
Tonight I am having my first ever Valentines dinner party. Pamela, Lloyd and Bryan are coming over and we are having NY strip steaks on the grill, garlic mashed red potatoes and asparagus with hollendaise followed by a toblerone chocolate fondue with strawberries, bananas, apples and pineapple. Hopefully everyone will enjoy themselves. Too bad it looks like rain.
Have a good week!

I just wrote over this weeks page of BVA with my new index file from jillwalters.com. That will teach me to back up my site daily. At least the index page. I told Bryan I didn't like using the automatic update in Dreamweaver. Now I have a good example of why. It's not a major big deal, but that's one page that won't be in the archive. And I had made a few structural changes in this main page. Sigh.
I think I just cut it off. I guess we will see.
So, good little dog story today for those of you that follow the adventures of the little dogs. Sadie somehow got stuck in the garden at the back of the yard. It has a small fence around it so that they don't go in there and start digging up vegetables. (They also like to eat them). I went to let the girls in and there, sitting inside the fence is Sadie with her big sad eyes. She couldn't get out and couldn't even understand my instructions for getting out. She insisted that she could get out between the fence boards since her head fit. Those of you that have seen the bulldog might understand why that wouldn't work. After much persuasion she followed me around the end of the fence and took a nap inside on the love seat.
Have a good weekend
