The Saga of Matt and Nat
I have slowly found myself turning girlier. It would be alarming if it wasn't for how much cooler girl stuff seems to be.
To the left you can see the cheap pink, fake lizard, Target handbag that started this obsession. Some of you may be aware of my obsession with cool socks. An obsession I have had since high school, actually. So I suppose I am getting bored with cool socks. Not only that, I think it's trendy. Uggh. Not that these new bags aren't, but boy are they great.
Anyway, after buying the lizard bag I stumbled into Dillards one day and saw this:
I just had to have it. Look at it in all it's limeness. It goes with nothing I would ever wear and therefore seems to go with everything. It's large enough for a camera, a book and all of my regular gear. I have even put a change of clothes in there. There are two convenient zipper pouches on the side that I use for putting work related receipts in.
From here it became an obsession. Next came the black Manhattan. I wanted a cool bag that was more practical in color for work. The brown Ibiza bag? Well it was just too good of a deal to pass up!
Then Dillards had less of a selection and I decided I needed to have the MC2 bag in Sky to go with a number of outfits I have. Such an unusual color but one I can wear. I didn't find the MC2 in sky initially. I found it on sale, in black (which seemed practical) with a Sabretooth wallet in brown, also on sale. I love it. In fact, I took it to dinner with me last night.
Next came ebay. On ebay I have discovered incredible prices on a number of bags that just need to be had. In fact, my box just came prompting this entry.
The first one I bought was the Teva in Berry. Note its bold striping. That's also the sabretooth wallet next to it. The same woman I spoke to on E-bay also had my beloved MC2 in Sky and a new bag, the Bouton in brown (also practical). I purchased all 3 bags. She sent me two positivity pouches at no charge. I love her. I love my bags.
Finally, just so they don't feel left out, I have a few non Matt and Nat bags worth showing:
An interesting thing about my Matt and Nat bags is that strangers love them and compliment me on my bag and ask where I got it. Certainly I never had a bag worth commenting on before. I just love these bags. I have even taken to changing my bag on an almost daily basis. How exciting. I just love these bags!
